The old small kitchen, adjacent toilet room and dining room were barely functional for our client’s big family, but they made do for many years. Then it was time for a change. The kitchen was opened up to the dining room, delicately balancing a new modern aesthetic with the simple Victorian era details of the original house. The WC was moved to a more private place by the new mud room.
