This is the second house by Royer Architects for the Erskine Park Estates development in the Berkshires. The inspiration for the design came from the charming gatehouses found at entrances to many of the 19th century estates in the Berkshires. They had many of the fine details of the main house, while being scaled appropriately for 21st century living.
