This conversion of a 1950's ranch house was featured on the national television program
Before & After.
The client's modern aesthetic was expressed on the interior of the house, but the form and details of the
exterior were inspired by the 19th century shingle-style houses in the neighborhood. The slope and orientation
of the roof were designed for future solar panels.
